Pursuant to Utah Code 20A-1-206 Kamas City desires to cancel the November 5, 2019 Municipal General Election and certifies that the number of candidates does not exceed the number of open at-large municipal offices.

Kamas City has three council seats open for election, with three applicants, Kamas City has no municipal ballot propositions, and Kamas City did not receive any write-in candidates.

Be it resolved by the Kamas City Council that the November 5, 2019 Municipal Election be hereby cancelled by Resolution 2019-04 passed on September 10, 2019.  The Kamas City Council certifies that there are three candidates for the City Council seats and the following candidates are considered to be elected to office for the three, four-year City Council seats, John F. Blazzard, Monica Blazzard, and Kevan Todd.
