Water Rate Increase Notice

On September 13, 2022, the Kamas City Council approved an increase in water rates and overage rates for Kamas City residents. The new base rate will be increased from $28 to $31 per month. This follows discussions concerning the financial status of the Kamas City water fund. After reviewing a study done by Rural Water Association of Utah experts, the City Council felt it necessary to approve this increase to maintain the financial stability of the water system.

This increase becomes effective November 1, 2022
