CITY OF KAMAS 2021 MUNICIPAL ELECTION

Kamas City will elect a mayor and two city council members during the 2021 Municipal Election, which will be held November 2, 2021. The General Election will be entirely by mail. The mayor and each council member will serve a term of four (4) years.

2021-04 Water Regulations and Conservation Resolution

Ordinance 2019-10, Snow Removal Regulations

  1. Policy for Snow Removal: It is unlawful for any person, their employees, agents and contractors to deposit, haul, push, blow or otherwise deposit snow accumulated on private property, public Right of Way, sidewalk, or any other location on the paved travel lane of the City Streets.
  2. Penalties for Violations: Violation of this Ordinance is a class C misdemeanor and is punishable by a fine of $150 for a first offense and $300 for each additional offense.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

The Kamas City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 to receive public comments regarding a potential zoning map or zoning ordinance amendment to the Entry Corridor Commercial and Agricultural 5 properties. The properties are located generally along SR 248 from the western boundary of Kamas to The Canal. The Planning Commission will be taking input on potential new zoning, including but not limited to making the entire area zoned all Agricultural or all Entry Corridor. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm in the Kamas City Hall, 170 North Main, Kamas.

 

The Kamas City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 to receive public comments regarding a modification to the Home Occupation ordinance 15.23.050 (3)(f) to make it an administrative conditional use process. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm in the Kamas City Hall, 170 North Main, Kamas.

 

The Kamas City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 to receive public comments regarding a modification to the land use table 15.30.020 regarding permitting auto sales and rentals in the General Commercial Zone. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm in the Kamas City Hall, 170 North Main, Kamas.

 

The Kamas City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 to receive public comments regarding a modification to the land use definitions 15.02.010 to address fractional numbers and rounding in land use applications. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm in the Kamas City Hall, 170 North Main, Kamas.
