Current Kamas City water restrictions:

No watering between 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

VIOLATION FEES

1st NOTICE: WARNING

2nd NOTICE: $100 FINE

3rd NOTICE: $500 FINE

4th NOTICE: SHUT OFF

 

♦ Ordinance 2019-10, Snow Removal Regulations

  1. Policy for Snow Removal: It is unlawful for any person, their employees, agents and contractors to deposit, haul, push, blow or otherwise deposit snow accumulated on private property, public Right of Way, sidewalk, or any other location on the paved travel lane of the City Streets.
  2. Penalties for Violations: Violation of this Ordinance is a class C misdemeanor and is punishable by a fine of $150 for a first offense and $300 for each additional offense.

PUBLIC NOTICES

The Kamas City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 to receive public comments regarding a request by The Meadows of Kamas, LLC for a major subdivision of KT-595, KT-595-A, KT-595-B, KT-595-C, KT-595-D, KT-595-E located at about 400 West 200 South. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm at the Kamas City Hall, 170 North Main, Kamas.

In compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this hearing should notify the City Clerk (783-4630) at least 3 days prior to the hearing.
